Tried backing up Saving Private Ryan and I get a invalid DVD structure in Shrink. Tried in Decrypter and got an authentication key error. Something I've never seen and it continues with this till you use task manager to stop the program. I'm using the latest AnyDVD, anyone know what's going on?

I burned my copy of the film without a problem. Are you sure that there's nothing wrong with your copy?

I used SmartRipper to put it on my hard drive and Nero Recode 2 to shrink it down. I used the default settings for both.

The only thing that I can think of is that my copy is the 60th anniversary editon of the Normandy invasion - there are other versions of the film that may differ (special edition version, single disc and double-disc versions).

I'm burning with an old Toshiba SD-R5112 DVD-R burner on DVD-Rs...I wouldn't think that would make a difference since it seems you're not even getting that far.

Try SmartRipper 2.41 and see if that makes a difference.

yea I wasn't even getting started. As a matter of fact I couldn't even get the DVD to eject. I had to restart computer and now it seems to be fine. Problem fixed, not sure what happened though. Thanks!
