i have been using Shrink/Decypter for many moons now, kinda know my around them somewhat and when i have a problem i try and try again.
i press every button i can and see what they do, trail and error kinda approach with some good outcomes.
lately been having some problems with certain movies and this is what made me join this forum. i have been reading alot here and tried to soak up all the info i can....but seems times are changing and my Shrink is hitting a road block sometimes (i won't get rid of it though).
trouble with the Kranks (after a few times it worked) movie is blah.
SO, with Stealth i got this with Shrink.
"encountered a error and cannot continue, invalid DVD navigation structure"
What does this mean?
i went and got/updated DVDFab and it's doing it's thing now but aleast Shrink tells ya how long(i don't use the vid preview when encoding)
So, after that---not knowing DVDFab, do i still get decypter to burn but i have to do this manually?
i was the same as you, i was burning the same way. i'm new to the forum but not new to burning. recently i downloaded AnyDVD and DVD Clone2 after reading some posts. Go to Slysoft.com and you can download it for free for 21 days. i've been using it for a month now. worth every penny. the only thing is make sure you wipe DVD43 if you have it in your computer, someone said they dont work good together. dude trust me, worth every penny and its free for almost a month. recently i have been using AnyDVD, running in the background with dvdshrink. works great. did all the new movies that have new protection.

what does AnyDVD do running in the back ground, i don't understand that....and how does Shrink know it's there?
AnyDVD does all the cracking and structure corrections for ANY copy device or player which access the drive that the DVD disk is in.
In other words, if Shrink opens the drive, the output is filtered through the AnyDVD program first, then fed to Shrink as a cleaned up movie disk. All shrink sees is a perfectly formatted, un-protected DVD.

1.Then can i re-auther my dvd like i did before?
2.Then Decrypt?
Then, walla-----my copy?
or does AnyDVD have to do another process?
Decrypt, when dealing with DVD's, means: (Remove Encryption) or, straighten out copy protection systems what ever they might be.
With that in mind, AnyDVD does ALL of the Decryption without any action on your part what so ever. You put a disk in the DVD drive and AnyDVD acts like an interpreter at the U.N. It changes all of the Encrypted Information in to standard DVD language for ANY program which access and reads the DVD in the drive.
So, you may use Shrink or any other copy program as you normally do. The only thing that changes is that none of your copy programs will see a copy protected disk. AnyDVD will "Translate" for them up front, and that makes their job much, much easier.
Download and install AnyDVD - try it for FREE for a few days. You have absolutely nothing to lose.
