Once the copy protection is removed any burning program - like Nero, Intervideo etc. can be used. Just pick your program of choice - insert the copy and pick the copy option and burn to a new disc.

Make sure you are using the dvd copy option.
Not really sure about your next question but + format is fine for copying.

I use Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim which I buy from supermediastore.com (us). It sounds like you were trying to booktype the disc but it didn't take. No matter even if the burned dvd is still showing as +r you can still copy it. Booktyping is mainly used to make a +r disc appear to be a dvd-rom which increases the playback compatability on dvd players.

Hey not a problem - that's what aD is here for!
If buying in store look for made in Japan with the exception of Verbatim. In store I would use Fuji, Verbatim, Sony or Maxell (in that order - my preference).
If your buying online from a reputable store like supermedistore.com your fine buying genuine Taiyo Yudens and Verbatims. Stick with those 2 from reputable sites and you'll be fine.

No matter what type of disc was used, -R or +R, for generation #1 copy, you' re able to make a second one from this. All DVD-ROMs are capable to read and reproduce both formats in a PC or a stand alone player. Examine first if your writter supports both formats for writting, especialy in case that you gonna need a double layer disc. Not all writters supporting dual layer burning.
About media I personaly use Verbatim and Philips only!

Your welcome! Two more little peices of advise: make sure your firmware is up to date and do not burn at max speed - keep your burn speed to 4x.
This will help reduce any palyback issues.
Keep us posted!

Your welcome! Forgot about the label bit. For the past year I've been using the printable discs and printer - they look good.
Happy burning!

I'm not a big fan of 1 click. A friend of mine loves it though.
This I think is a USA network movie so I don't think (key word here) there should be anything special that decrypter can't handle. The disc may be dirty, scratched or a bad press.
Here's a guide for problem discs that may help:

Hey timberlou
IMO 1click isn't that great of a ripper but I'm all about time saving too. You may want to check out AnyDVD w/ CloneDVD. Not 1 click but close enuf.
