Ripping DVD's to a file server for later playback???

I am looking to start ripping my DVDs to a file server so that I can have on demand videos. I am planning on building a file server with all my ripped DVDs. I almost don?t want to use compression as I understand it degrades the quality of the movie. Can anyone offer any first steps in completing my project or point me in the direction of a tutorial? Thanks

You can go to the top of page and use the guides for using dvddecrypter.
Using this program you can just rip the movie in file mode. Play back using windvd or powerdvd.

I am able to rip it to the hard drive and play it back using powerDVD.
My question is, How would you save it to act like a DVD. Being able to use the menus and such just like a DVD?

If you use DVD Decrypter in file mode, as spacedust suggested, and rip all the files to your hard drive then that's it, you'll have the complete DVD. In DVD Decrypter, Edit, just make sure you click
"Select All" and not "Select Main Movie Files" or something else. Then PowerDVD will give you the complete DVD, menus and everything, just as if you popped it into your DVD player.
