I am a rookie using DVD shrink. I have been using the program to shrink the DVD, then i have just been using my studio 8 program on my computer to burn. It has been working, but i am now finding when i try to watch the burnt movie it glitches and ends up freezing at any point in the movie. Whats wrong and where do i begin?

What speed are you burning at.
Poor quality media will display the results that you indicate.
Burn at 4x max and use good media like Taiyo Yuden, verbatim, maxell.
Cheers.

When you say media, is that the brand of blank disc i use to burn on? If so, it is called TDK i think. As far as the burn speed option is concerened, i am using studio 8 to burn, and i cant find a burn speed option in it to adjust on it. Any suggestions from here?

TDK sucks, switch to something better like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. SOny and Fuji are fine so long as they are made in japan. And if you can't adjust it then what speed are you buring at?

So you are thinking that my problem is in the blank discs i have? And not with the program i am using to burn? I figured out how to change my burn speed options, and it was at the max speed, so maybe that had something to do with it.

TDK really is horrible media, and you shouldn't be burning faster than 4x even when using good media.
