Hi All,

I'm still new and been reading a lot of post about different brands etc for DVD movie back ups. I d/l The DVD Indetifier, this is the info I got on the new pack of Disc I bought (Maxell 4x)I did go through all the packs on the shelf and made sure the label said made in Japan since someone had posted that some where on this form.
Can someone let me know if they are good?

If both of them are Made In Japan, then both of them are good. I've had more experiences with the Maxell002 (Hitachi - made in japan), these are flawless. Go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/262544 for more scans or details on Maxell 8X DVD+R (Hitachi - made in japan) -- all of my Maxell scans are equally on par with top notch Yuden and Verbs.

(NOTE: remember to always burn at 4X, it's the best, safest and most recommended speeds for burning.)
