I backed up The Dukes of Hazard using DVD Decrypter. I was trying to use DVD Shrink to make a DVR but when I try to load the VOB files with DVD Shrink I get the error, ?Invalid DVD navigation structure?. I have the following files and they play fine in Media Player Classic.

VTS_02 - Stream Information.txt
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_1.VOB
VTS_02_0.IFO

Any ideas on how I can get DVD Shrink to read the files?

If I understand correctly, you were in the proces of making the copy from the original disk but after ripping with DVD Decrypter you couldn't open the files (on your hard-disk) in DVDshrink...

Try ripping the DVD in DVD Decrypters 'file mode' (Choose 'Mode' and then 'File'. Select ALL files and rip away! Tbis way the structure of the DVD will not be altered, and DVDshrink can open it.

I thought I would mention I got it working...

I followed this (http://www.gromkov.com/faq/faq2004-0066.html) guide on re-creating your IFO files. After I completed the guide DVD Shrink still wouldn't work. I tried renaming the VOB files to VTS_01_x.VOB intead of VTS_02_x.VOB and then it worked.

Cheers!

broncofan,
Welcome to the forum. You really need AnyDVD to do the newer movies as DVDD is no longer in production. They offer a 21 day trial and most people buy it after that. You can also try DVDFAB Decrypter ( free) and see if it will solve the problem.
