HI all , I am trying to use dvd shrink on sweet home alabama, and when it gets to 47 percent i get an error message that says data error cyclic redundancy check. what does this mean and does anyone have a secret for this video? I have also tried usinf decrypter, and dvd fab, all stop or freezes on me. thanks in advance for the help

use DVD Decrypter to copy the movie to a file format to your HD then have shrink do its job from there.. if that doesn't work let me know!
Syntax MB w/Via C3 Samuel 2(The 1.2 Gigapro) NVidia GeForce MX4000, Sony 12Cd-RW, Lite-On 8x Dual Format DVD Burner, Lite-On 16x Dual Format&Dual Layer,ATA 100 RaidCard,500 Gigs of HD ...... But My Frankenstien is still on the operating table....

dhamrick,
What you have w/ that error is either a scratched disk or a bad press. You can try cleaning it and re-try the rip. If it fails again then it is either the bad scratches or a bad press

I was able to use my dvd rom drive to back it up then copy it, I have cleaned the drives and the disks, so im not quite sure why one drive would do it and the other not. either which way i got it done, thanx all who replied. I do have another ? though. I have vobblanker, but i am curious to know how a person knows which files to blank? im new to that program
