this is the message i get......

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

i don't have the cd that came with the drive. the name of the drive is HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8525B The brand of the drive is LG.

Go into the device manager and uninstall the cd burner. Then reboot windows and let it reload the drivers properly.
