brand new to the forums as i've never had a problem "backing up" a movie before but just ran into trouble with Dukes of Hazard. I've tried dvd shrink, recode2, and 1clickdvdcopy with both dvd43 or anydvd running and nothing works. the disk plays fine on my pc, and set top player. but it emediately gives me a "error reading disk" message or in Recode i get:

I ripped "Dukes Of Hazzard Unrated" using DVD Decrypter via Mode, File F into my hard drive successfully. Have Nero Recode 2 encoded with "Advanced Analysis" and burned with Nero Burning Rom flawlessly. Dukes Of Hazzard is nothing special -- DVD Decrypter alone can handle it easily. Maybe you have a bad pressed, exchange it for a new one and you should be fine.

Try ripping to hd with DVDFab decrypter. Sometimes this will work on a tough disc. It's free, you can get it at this forum.

Merry Christmas.
