Can some one helping me? I am ripping a movie from a dvd disc, using
dvd decrypter, isobuster, dvdfab decrypter etc. In first 20 or 30 minutes, it seems went very well. It start to get read errors. I chose to ignore all reading error. But the reading routine seems to go into some kind of infinite reading loop. It took hours to rip one
percent. I tried to let it run for 24 hours, still running but going
slower and slower. Finally I have to abort it. Is this a new trick put on by manufaturer? Disc is a new disc.I can play in a dvd machine with no problems.

Thanks for the response, I will try to clean it very very well and try again. There is no english title for the disc but when you ripped it it always created the new folder NAMED SHXX_xxto house video_ts. FOR EXAMPLE SH9_15. (Means episodes from 9 to 15)

Are you following the guide for DVDFab Decrypter, DVDShrink, and DVDDecrypter?

Here it is:

http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/backup%20with%20DVDFABDecrypter,S...

Follow this step by step and omit nothing.

Thank for your guides, I had printed all 27 pages and read it very carefully. It is very clear and very useful. I got a lot of information about re-authoring.Thanks again. All signs pointing to the bad media may be the cause of my original ripping problems even
the discs are pretty new.

Is there true free copy of AVI to mpeg converting software I can get?

If the disks are new & yet there's reading problem, then the drive is at fault.
