Alright, I'm sure this may not seem like a very big deal to some, but I'm really not quite sure what to do, and considering that I have no idea how to "fix" anything dealing with electronics, this seemed like the best way to go.
I have a first year PS2...yes, old model, not one of the newer, slimmer, or faster ones. Anyway, I also have a nondiscrete, 8 MB memory card for it. I've used the card before, it has previously played games saved on it, but for some reason...now it won't work.
Anytime I try to save a game I'm working on right then, the system says "memory card not inserted." I've checked repeatedly.
Just short of opening the PS2 and jamming the card inside the machine, there's no other way to get the card "inserted."
Both the card, and it's receptor are clean of dust. Neither one has come into contact of any kind with water or any other fluid...
So why won't my PS2 accknowledge my Mem. Card?
What should I do...any suggestions?
