Hi all
I have the above which i have had for years with out any problems went to my childs christmas play last night film it went to transfer it to dvd but everything is coming out in black and white on the pc screen. Tried it on the tv and the same thing happened went and got a cassette which i know is in colour and the same thing. Has anyone had a similar problem with this make or could it be a button i have pressed by accident as i do not have a manual. I don't want to buy another one as i only would only use it once a year. I have been on the sony website but cannot find anything about this.
Any help would be appreicated

Well I know that you get a Black and While Image if you Try to Play PAL Video on a NTSC System or Visa Versa....

You can also get this effect when useing a Faulty S-Video Cable or Adapter....

That is about all I can Think of Right now....

I have tried the cable on my other pc and it works on there everything is PAL equipment. I will keep trying to get it to work on the problem pc but at least i will have a back up pc if all else fails. Anyway i think it's about time i reformatted my pc its been a couple years anyway.
