Be carefull when installing Adobe Premier Elements Tryout Version. It trashed my systems ability to play video files from any source i.e., PowerDVD, Premier Elements, Winamp, etc... were all broken. The only way I was able to get any kind of support to determine what Premier Elements had actually done to my system was buy the software and then request their complementary support (which I refused to do).

What I ultimately did was uninstall the app, manually scrub the registry of any droppings I could find (still no go) and then do a system restore (that worked)...

Not sure what happened, but was not pleasant. Has anyone else experienced problems with this app?

Which authoring package would you guys recommend?
