Your firmware is one revision behind, find the new one here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces

Nero is current.
DMA is on.
Memory is OK.
Target size is good.

I've read a few threads about bad batches of Ritek discs, maybe try another brand. Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden and Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan) are some good choices.

Give these two suggestion a try and see if they change your luck.

I think Nero 7 is up to 7.0.1.4 now, and here is a more direct link to your firmware, save you the time:

http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1971

The newest one is TU56

All Nero 7 logs have been showing this, but it could be that it's actually your system and not just an uncorrected Nero bug.

LOCO is right, I'm starting to think that Ritek is worse than the dreaded CMC because I've seen so many people who have failed burns that use Ritek. W/ CMC it's normally a different problem but I point out the CMC thing jsut for there sake.

@GlueEater

I think there must just be some bad batches going around, surely a brand as highly regarded as Ritek is/was hasn't slipped down to the ranks of memorex/imation/CMAG.

I just got lazy on the firmware issue...didn't even check it.
