I had a similar problem last week and at the advice of some of the helpful folks here on this forum made some changes. I updated Nero, updated the firmware, changed my burning speed from 8x to4x and set my target at 4300.
So now I'm at a loss. I tried to make a back up of the Bad news Bears. The first one seemed to go through with out a hitch ,but when the second one almost completed this burn error came up ??????
Can any one interpret this log for me and shead some light on what the problem might be. I used shrink only not DVD decripter.
Thanks.
Rick6

I think I was helping you on the other thread, but anyway...have you tried a different type of blank media. I see you're using Ritek, I've read a few threads recently about some bad batches of Ritek discs. Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden and Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan) would be some good choices.

Locoeng Yes you were helping me on other the thread. Did you see anything on the log that explains my problem?

Yeah that Ritek's been really slipping lately. I think it was Alkohol that first pointed that out to me about 2 weeks ago.

@Rick6

I think I pointed that out to you in your first thread too.

I am still not clear on this.
Is there something in the log that indicates that the problem is the Ritec disc?
IF so I would like to point this out to the guy I bought these from. All 200 of them. He is no doubt going to try and claim the problem is something else. So being able to show him my log and say "Look the log indicates the Ritec sucks, give me a refund" , would really help particularly since I think he said they don't give refunds.
Thanks.

It's not really anything in your log, it's just that nearly all bad Nero logs in the past week or so that i've read have been Ritek so that is why I'm now advising against them. they use to be pretty good but now... :/
