Help I think I messed up my Xbox!

I installed EvoX using the splinter cell exploit, then installed some apps and ems, but then I couldn't install NeoGenesis so I checked their faq's and it told me to update the bios. Using one of the programs on the disk, I unlocked the Hard Drive than I flashed the bios. Everything went fine until I restarted the thing. Now, i get only the black screen of death.
I backed up the Hard Drive right before it got majorly screwed.
Is there no hope? Could I fix it by installing a new hard drive? Or am I entirely and completely stuffed?

ok that really sucks if somehow some way you can get to your evox menu restore your xbox. and it probably got rid of some importat bios when you did that. but from the sound of it you did fuck up your xbox pretty good.

If you have it softmodded and you backed up your epprom you can use xboxhdm. If not hmm ?

I softmodded using the splinter cell exploit on a memory card, installed evox, then used the SID 3.0 disk to install some stuff. Everything worked fine until I used one of the programs on the SID disk. I think it was Itools or Xtools or something like that but I used it to unlock the hard drive, then to flash the bios (or atleast I thought it was to flash the bios). When I got back to the Evox dash, it still was working ok until I restarted the Xbox. Now all I get nomatter what, is the black "your xbox requires service" screen as soon as I start it up. It won't boot anything at all.

hmmm.itools that i have on my mechassault exploit didnt have anything that flashed the bios.ive never heard of xtools so i cant help u on that.what u can do is get xboxhdm and try to do it that way itll restore ur hdd to a virgin state.if u need help hit me up on aim nemrod811

try putting in the disc you used,then switch off the xbox switch it back on again andthe game should load,if it does then install the softmod again and then install your desired dashboard.if not then get a new hard drive(a ready made one,i know you can get 200gb ready mades on ebay for £100)and then just install the whole thing again.

I think i messed mine up too cause i used the mechassault installer and unleashx and you could not use my ms dash so the file called xboxdash.xbe i renamed to msdash.xbe and when i restarted the light turned red and its like on the screen it says call support. am i completely screwed?

try and do what jackprat said i think thatll work.i did the mech exploit but i also did the hotswap method with xboxhdm and used avaluanch for my dash
