Hi,
I recently updated my burner firmware and looked up the media guide for the new firmware. There is a extensive list of media for -R, -RW, +R, +RW, but Verbatim is not mentioned anywhere.
Ritek, T Yuden, Fuji all are, so my question is could Verbatim be in there just under a different name???
Thannks......

look for the ones coded MCC 004
you can try and find them at office depot (sale ends saturday though)
they have a 50 pack of the + and - for 12.99, but try office max, they are price matching O.D.

i've heard creaky refer to them as "sexy"...so, yes, that is "another name" for them~ :)
LOL
docTY~
p.s. i think my Taiyo Yudens are "sexier", but creaky got the best of both worlds as his Verbatims in the UK are manufactured by TY but branded Verbatim~ grrr...im so jealous~!
Recommended Media:

lol creaky's just burnt a couple of those sexy Verb TY's :)
was just gonna add my 5pence re Verbatim, well a copy/paste from another thread anyways Quote: As to Verbatim - MCC (Mitsubishi Chemicals Corporation) is the parent company of MKM (Mitsubishi Kagaku Media), which in turn is the parent company of Verbatim, hence the media codes MCC and MKM
