sorry if this has been posted before. but i went ahead and messed with the ratios to my liking and then when i click backup it asks about the regoin and i click USA and then it ejects the Movie DVD and the menu for the Nero comes up giving me my options of Iso or str8 to DVD. For some reason ive ALWAYS had a problem with Nero ejecting my dics so maybe it could be that?

Welcome to the forum

If you are using Shrink you make the DVD Region Free not region 1.

List the program you are using to rip the movie and what other programs you are using to compress the DVD and then to burn it. Sorry but I really could not follow what you wrote so I am asking for clarification

oh sorry, it wasnt clear but thanks for responding. im using DVD shrink3.2 that i D/l from this site, and when i go to press backup it will eject the DVD right before i get to choose if i want to burn it to ISO or not. i have to closed the drive again and make a choice but when i do it will bring up the windows error message and close the program. Ive always had this problem using Nero though and i assume since DVD Shrink uses it it might be the cause

Do you have INCD Installed. If so uninstall it as something is making the the burner act crazy. You might consider burning the ISO using DVDDecrypter or IMGburn. Can you post the Nero log

I wish I was at home to look at the properties, but I seem to remember something about cycling the tray in the properties section. If this is ticked it will cycle the tray. Look though the preferences and untick this if you see it.

I don't have shrink on this computer or I would find it for you. There is probably something similar in Nero, but I don't know for sure.

im not getting a Nero log, because i dont even get a chance to actually sart burning, i get one of those window error messages asking if i would like to send a bug report to microsoft and th program just closes. Not sure what INCD is too. thanks guys

InCD is a packet folder bundled with Nero, and it is not needed. It is known to create conflicts, but other apps within Nero work well.
