Hey everyone names Chris and i have been watching from the wings for sometime now and have learned a tone of tricks from you all.But now i find myself with a problem.I was trying to shrink the Disney movie valiant and find that it freezes and then closes.
then i tried DVD Decrypter and was able to save to the hard drive but it is still too large for burning.So i try and DVD Shrink again and i get an error of

DVD Shrink encountered and error and cannot continue.
invalid data in file "c:\documents and setting\christopher harrell\documents\DVD2\DVD\video_ts\vts_01_1.vob"

So can you guys please help?thanks in advance..charrell

Welcome to the forum.
1.Rip the movie to HD using DVDFAB Decrypter:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvdf...

2. Use VobBlanker:

http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=580

3.Shrink to compress the file that Vobblanker created and then either Nero or DVDDecrypter or Imgburn to burn the movie

Don't change any settings in VOB Blanker, just point to input and output folder and hit process!

But like Car.Mike said this will work, and all the programs are free =)

Dvdfab was the only program that would break Valiant for me. Unfortunately it's just a hair too big to burn. When I try to use shrink it says Invalid Data in file "C\:DvdFabPlatinum_Temp\Dvd\Video_TS\VTS_01_0.VOB"
What do you recommend I do from here?

All you have to do is read what Deline and I told charrell to do. Do it in that order and you should have no problems

i used just DVD Shrink on it's lonesome for thois movie but the other replies will sort you out/or already have sorted you out
