How come, my PS2 acts like there's a disc in it when there is none and it doesn't right away goto the selection screen and I can't boot anything?

Ok, so you're saying that your PS2 acts like there is a disc in it when there is no disc in it at all, and when you select Browser it doesn't go right to it?

And you can't boot anything at all? Be a bit more specific, auto booting or self booting (selecting the disc at the browser screen)?.

Maybe because your ps2 very old now and isnt as healthy as it was when you bought it
