Both the price and the number of discs should give you an idea of how good they are.

I've never even heard of Infomedia Inc. before. Therefore, I wouldn't trust them. I'll stick with TY's and Verbatim.

@ Clearmoon
Well, I have to echo PirateDan! It sounded too good to be true and after reading who makes them, it's no wonder! There's a reason why media like that is almost given away; so some poor sucker thinks they're getting a real bargain, but are getting real crap! Having said that, I don't blame you for looking to cheaper media. When you do as many backups as some, me included, you look for ways to save money. I chose Sonic +R 4x. It's not premium quality but it has served me well and in 3yrs of burning I've made a handful of coasters, not because of media but because of software or pc issues. Movies I backed up long ago still play as well as they did the day I made them with no loss in video/audio quality. I started out using Memorex. I was told that was what I should get. I found out about AfterDawn by accident and quickly found out TY or Verbatim or Ritek/Ridata is the way to go. Still, I'm rather frugal and that has out-weighed my need for premium quality media, even though I'm keenly aware that having better or the best will probably serve me better in the long run. After rambling on for this long I should tell you, when I'm more monetarily able, I'll buy the good stuff! Hopefully, it'll be HD-DVD or BluRay so I can condense the number of disc I have and increase the number of movies on a disc without losing quality.
Good luck with those disc!!!
