He he, pretty good animation. I like some of the skins people make. That skin is for the old version of WinAmp where as I have the new version.

sure you can. and there are still die hard winamp fans that are still using the 2.x version...I was for years, but finally switched to 5 about a year ago. The older versions still remain popular because of how stable they are and how well they perform

foobar seems pretty basic. I use it every now and then for cd burning, cause it can create gapless audio cds from mp3 albums. but how is the interface better...there isnt' really much there. Winamp has tons and tons of more options and features, not to mention the thousands of plugins. but as long as it works thats all that matters I suppose...

Its not of a "more" interface, but its alot more simple, (i know how to work winamp just as good) but has a few things winamp dosent have such as masstagger and better plug in support. Ive seem to notice some of my higher quality cds sound better when ripped, and played in foobar IMO, but winamp is my second handsdown media player.

well for tagging I use tag&rename, its the best mp3 tagger I've found. and for CD ripping, the best out there is EAC (exact audio copy). But it does seem like a good player...
