hello , i have a xbox v 1.6 and have ordered a Xecuter 2.6 CE Mod Chip & Xapter which should arrive any day .
once installed i have been told i have to flash the xecuter chip , i have looked on the internet and have found 2 types of bios flash an xecuter bios or a evolutionx bios .
the question is my xbox is a v1.6 do i need the latest bios of either of these 2 or would any version work ?
i have figured out how to make a cd/dvd flash disc i just need to know which version of bios i will need .
i have evolution x v2.6 and v3.6
and X2 v1.0 and 1.1
would any of these work ?
many thanks for any replies as im new to xbox modding and intend to get it right hopefully :o)

you have a couple choices of bios's

1. M8 (m8_16 or m8plus_16)
2. x2_5032 (make sure to use the 1.6 version)

if choosing the m8 you must flash a 512k size m8 to bank #2 on the chip(it comes as 256k) so you will have to edit the bios...if you flash it to bank 1, it will not work.

sorted mateys flashed withe latest xecuter bios , no probs now about to install a dashboard probably use latest evolutionX dashboard , would that be ok with a xecuter bios ?

I would recomend unleash-x honestly,but it should work if ur heart-set on this dash.
