Today i opened up my xbox to take out its hardrive. When I took it out, I wanted to put it into my PC.i put it into my PC, it diidnt regignise it. So i put it back into my Xbox. I pluged everything in right, doubled check. So i put on my xbox, Then it stayed on the Xbox logo for 5 seconds, then it went to Error 07. I checked out what does error 07 means, and it said theat it could be currupted, or not pluged in. It also said to recheck my connection cables or reformated it with a special program on the website.
What program do I use to reformat my Hardrive to use it on my Xbox?
How do I get my Pc to reginized my Harddrive?

from what i have heard a pc wont recognize your harddrive becuase its locked to your xbox's motherboard but xboxhdm(hard drive manager) is the utility to reformat.i suggest making sure everything is just plugged up securily and trying again.

When i reformat it, does the bios and ms dashboard go on it?
Or do i have to download the MS dashbard, and when do i download it?
BTW how can I open Slayers Evox Auto Installer? I tried Iso magic, Iso buster and a hell lot of other programs, no luck. It only shows the same image, I tried dameon tools, but still i cant access the files in it.
IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN MAKE THE eeprom! I DIDNT BAKC IT UP, I DONT HAVE ONE, I CANT GET ONE!
there could be an eeprom on my harddrive, but i cant get it bc of error 07.. help : ( : ( : ( : ( : ( : ( : (

i cant answer the reformat Q but i can answer the other one.
the slayers iso is an Xiso which is made for the xbox only xbox's can read these so u will need a program that opens xiso such as C-tool or qwix both can be downloaded from my site where my signature is. and no an eeprom can not be corrupted.
just plug your hard drive back into your box make sure everything is secure alright and no cords are pinched.

ok, thank you. I'm probally going to reformat it anyway because before i gor error 07, i gto error 21 which means i have a currupted xbox adn i cant get to xbox. Ill double check. Thanks for everything.

I have a new problem. When i burn the Iso of Xboxhdm onto a cd. How do you boot it, are you sopose to do boot from cd when wondows starts, when i do that, it says cant read, strike f1 to retry, f2 to got to setup utility. help

if it dont boot by itself take the disc out restart your computer when it restarts press f2 or whatever takes u to your menu then change your boot option to boot from cd-rom alright. u should NOT go into windows.

never mind everything. Im not going to reformat my xbox. I recheck the connection and found out that the xbox hdd was being used as a secondary slave. I turned it into a primary slave. So now i can play games, but i cant go onto my dashboard bc of error 21.

i have the same problem its just that i never got error 21 first do i just need to reformat my hd. if so i would also like to know wat i need to do so and how to do it. thanx.

if u didnt back your eeprom onto your computer it will be hard.
