I ran into small problem. I burn my first DVD +R DL, Nec 3500AG drive. The burn seem like it went okay. When I play it back on DVD player couple of spots it would pause for long time or stop on frame. right at the beginning. I am using Shrink the latest version, Nero 6.xxx, and running XP. The brand if DVD is Verbatim +R DL, and I burn at 2.4x, thou the box said I could burn upto 6x if I had compatible high speed burner. I wasn't sure so I play it safe. So does anyone have any suggest what I should try or look out for when burning.

I don't recommend Nero and DVD Shrink for dual layer backups.Nero 6 has an issue with the layer break.I'd switch programs.
The program I use on most of my Dual Layer backups is DVD Decrypter . This free program has 2 modes.Since dual layer media backups are a 1:1 copy,no compression necessary:Use Mode ISO read to hard drive/Mode ISO write/locate that mds file and burn.
I have run into problems backing up several box sets I've bought. Decryptor returns I/O errors when attempting to copy. I had one disc finalize without burning anything to it (Fuji +R DL). We have to look for other solutions...
Try CloneDVD 2 & set your target size to DVD+RDL. Works very well for me. Burn at 4x. That is if your burner & firmware supports that speed, Otherwise burn at 2.4x. Use CloneDVD 2 and select Clone Entire DVD. Set the target correctly and Voila!
