hmm yeah so it the same problem as most people. with the error 13
wich was my fault. i actually softmoded my xbox succesfully with mechassault but i had to be stupid n format my c - drive thru ftping
so anyways after i formated my c - drive i installed evox through the exploit but after i took out the disc the error 13 comes up. and now im in the same position as some or most poeple i think..
i tried everyhting.
*updating dash with an xbox live game [halo 2].. dosne't work.
*trying the eploiit.. dosne't work just freezes.
so basicaly i need the orignal ms dash right ?
anyways i htink im stuffed up even more becasue i did not back up my e drive or eeprom.. only the c drive onto my pc

is there a way i could still fix this without getting it chipped.
my frined told me to use xboxhdm_v1.9 but the readme file says you need the c- and e- drive files and a backup of eeprom.

i guess my last option is to get it chipped. wich is going to be such a hasssle.

also use to own a modchip xbox liek 2 years ago and rember i got that error 13 screen wich somehow i fixed by chucking in a game i think it was midngiht run 2 wich i think actually reinstalled the whole dashboard i can't remeber but what im asking is. was this possible bcoz i had a modchip installed ? or the game actually does installed a whole new dash in ? i don't i can't rebmer mcuh from my old xbox im so noob now..

You can get an original MS dashboad from Slayer Evox Auto Installer. Open it with a Xiso tool.

hmm... but how do i get it into my xbox ?
coz i don't have a modchip in it n i can't ftp to it since i can't even use the exploit..but yeah anyways i think i foudn a way to fix it up
but i'd have to open up my damn xbox wich why i just wanted to softmod in the first place so i wouldn't have to open it up. i mgiht aswell get a larger hdd for it while im at it..

but yeah anyways if there is.. any other way for me to fix it up without opening.. please do help. mcuh appreciated.
