Ive just tried to boot up fifa 2006 with swap magic on the ps2.

When it loads up a game it stops 3/4 of the way into it.

Has anyone come across this before or how i can get this sorted out.

Any help is much appreciated.

I get the exact same problem. However, when I launched FIFA 2006 off the real disc, and it loaded correctly, I noticed something odd. The bar never finishes. It goes straight from that 3/4 mark to the field. Just something interesting. It might have to do with scratches on the original disc.

Nah, FIFA 2006 is a known problem game for the Swap Magic DVD. It needs rebuilding, otherwise it gets stuck at the 3/4 loading point as you say.

ok, cheers for that, not something im doing wrong then.

I have just had a look on the web for re-building the iso image, cant find anything. do you know how i can do it/what i need or where i can find good instructions on it??

I got Fifa 06 and Pro Evo 5 at the same time. I've played Fifa twice. Pro Evo is the best football game ever made IMO.

here is what you gotta do to get that backup running.
using Nero 7 ultra edition or 6 ultra with all them plugins.
run the Nero burning rom dvd UDF/ISO and drop all the "extracted"
Fifa files and burn. that will make the iso file smaller from
4.37GB to 2.81Gb's. and the game will run just like my original.
