I just got all the lost season1 avi files, they are around 300 mb each, i was wondering if there was a program that would put for example 6 of these files on a dvd after one click. If so, what is it?

Hi there,

VSO DivxToDVD will probably be able to put about 4 (300 Mb) AVI files on 1 DVD.

Usually, 1 x 700 Mb will average out 1.5Gb to 2.5Gb to of .VOB files but it depends on the input file.

You can't but more than 4, you have 3 options.

1- Make 2 x DVD with 3 episodes each.

2- Make 1 with 4 (Probably the max) and 1 with 2 episodes.

3- Make one with all 6 (Output to HD) then using DVD Shrink, compress it so it will fit on 1 DVD5 media, but you will lose quality again, since you are compressing it.

My 2 cents...

Filesize of an AVI has nothing to do with the filesize of an mpg (authored or not). It's running time, and mpeg encoded bitrate that will determine the final mpeg size.

Hi there,

Dual Layer, yep, here's an idea.

My 2 cents on this is this:

1 Dual Layer = $lots Still$ for 6 episodes...

2 x DVD5 at about $0,50 each for 3 episodes each.

Come one, after 3 episodes, it time for a popcorn refill, so why not just change that Single Layer disk :)
