I'm trying to unlock my nokia 6102b from cingular usa. imei 357100/000/254885/4. I tried the above post pw but it gave me a restriction error. Can someone give me the proper code before I try another pw on the other thread? Thank you.

worked on my 6102b with these settings

now to help I have confidence in this generator and the settings because they worked for me, however double, and perhaps tripple check your IMIE number and remember you only have 3 tries to enter a code. That means if it didn't work and you are sure your entered it correctly DONT TRY IT AGAIN. Ask help on the forum.

I have tried a couple of nokia unlock programs I have had success with on other phones, but it did not work on a new nokia 6102b from cingular (USA). I've tried more than three codes (8-10) and have since read you're only allowed three tries. Questions: 1) am I stuck due to entering so many unlock codes? 2) if so, what options do I have at this point? 3) if I'm not stuck, can anyone help me with an accurate code (IMEI 35 88 04 00 23 89 67 7)? Thanks in advance!

Regarding my posting on Jan 25... I've found out a couple of things. On the nokia 6102b (the "b" is for the American version) you get five tries to unlock with a key-in code, after that it hard-locks. Once hard-locked you cannot unlock it by punching in a code. I found a place on-line at iunlock.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=556 who were able to unlock it for $20 + $7 shipping. I just got it back today and it works great... it's a new cingular phone and my son is now able to use it on an old AT&T wireless account (requires unlocking to do that). When using codes, I've read you should start with #7, then try #s 1 & 2. Calculators can be found at www.unlockme.co.uk/downloads.html
