transfering files from pc to xbox?? help

hi i was wondering how i would go about hooking my xbox up to my pc, and transfering a file such as a movie file to my xbox hard drive and then watching it on my tv from my xbox... how would i go about doing this or is it even possible?

You'll need to get XMBC, and transfer the movie folder (you'll have to get a program like CloneDVD to store the files in a video folder with all the files.) XMBC should have a folder where movies can be stored, now, you can FTP the movie folder into that folder on your xbox.

go to the link for Teammodders in my sig
read the tutorials in the forums for Xbox on FTP'ing
and for setting up the xbox and pc to be able to FTP
and also the one for setting up your connection for sharing.
and you will need the XBMC mentioned to play them
