i have this program called hdl_dumb but i cant load anything without hd loader. i have hd loader but it says disk is not a ps2 disk.

Without a mod or an original hd loader/hd advance, there is no way to play the games even if you get them on the hd.

Your only option is to do a memory card exploit. This site lists the various ways to get a program on your memory card (you might as well put hd loader on there): http://www.exploitstation.com/index.php?page=faq
