how to get backup dvd to back up?

if the dvd shrink opens the dvd, but will not back it up, what can i do to get it to backup?

In my signature block you will see a link for DVDdecrypter and DVDshrink. This is an excellent guide that will walk you through the steps to backing up a DVD. Very good info, and is what I used when I started.
