I backed up disk 1, 2, and 3 from the L Word season 2.

But when i try to back up disc 4 it gives me errors....like this.

I/O Error

Device 1:0:0 Memorex DVD+/-RWDual-X1 1.07 (G:) (ATA)

SCSIStatus:0x02

Interpretation:CheckCondition

CDB: 2800 00 06 91 00 00 01 00

Interpretation: Read (10) -Sector:446097

Sense Area: f0 00 03 00 06 CE91 0E00 00 00 00 11 05 00 00 00 00 5D

Interpretation:L-EC Uncorrectable Error

AND on the log it it says failed to read sector 446096 uncorrectable error.

I cleaned the drive and went back and got another copy of disc 4. Still an error. WHat else can I do??

I use the same programs to back up everytime without problems til this. I use DVD Decryptor and then I use Shrink and then Nero to burn. Please any ideas??? Thanks in advance.

By the way the disk is brand new....Is there another program that I can use besides Decryptor that will work on L Word Disk 4?? I is the only movie that has given me problems...I have backed up hundreds of movies with no problems.

Do you get this error when trying to rip the DVD to the hard drive?

You could try to use DVDFab decrypter (free, see software at this forum)as sometimes it will rip hard to rip discs.

The error occurs when I go to use shrink...It will start to read it and then it says shrink has encountered an error and will close.
