uses xbox modchips for what? as a stand to keep your console cooler maybe. No you can't install a xbox modchip on an xbox 360 and expect it to do anything other than ruin your xbox 360.

I think your brain melted in your skull(ha ha just kidding). No game discs or cd's melted in the xbox 360 unless someone got confused and stuck there console in the oven instead of the cake they were about to bake. There has been a problem with the scratching of game discs if you turn/drop your xbox 360 from standing vertical while the console is running.

3 sounds like hooka, are they sure it was a CD and not a piece of round cheese they got at a deli counter?

Well maybe if you pour gasoline on it followed by a match. I've been hearing also that disc were completely shattered inside 360. But I watch mythbusters, so I know that you need over 300x drive and damaged disc to do that ;)

haha actually thats not true b/c one day in our comp lab at school..a disc shattered inside the tray an i got detention bc the teacher thought that i broke it :)

hey the third one's kinda of true. I played perfect dark zero on coop with a noob. We got stuck because he can't comprehend teamwork and then the 360 froze. took out the game and it was hot as h$ll with a quarter inch thick band burnt int he middle of the game all the way around. called ms. they had me send in the core on Dec. 19,2205 and recieved a brand new core on Dec. 22,2005. whcih is a fast turnaround but they sent me a new one. how do i know that this one is not gonna do the same. I wish they fixed the old one.
