just downloaded the trial of anydvd and it says trial period expired, Please advise as to what to do next.

Had you ever downloaded it before?

If your system shows that the 21 day trial has expired you can only purchase it.

An alternative is DVD43 (free).

What film are you attempting to backup, if it is not a new film you may be able to use DVD Decrypter to backup the movie and then use DVD Shrink to burn it to CD. If it is a new film then try using Fab DVD or try 1 Click dvd copy this is also available on a trial basis.If all else fails buy Any DVD its great and simple to use.

try DVD43 (as mentioned) or DVDFab Decrypter as an alertative if you don't want to buy AnyDVD, they are free.
