HDD GAMES don't work

I have a lot of games on my hdd, but some of them don't work(tiger woods 2005, capcom classics, constantine). some start and show the first screen with the productionsign, and then it stops. other games work fine(playboy mansion, metal gear 3, driver3). what could be the problem? please help

i use USB Extrem to transfer the games to the HDD. the HDD is connected to the ps2 with the usb port, so i don't have a network adapter. so i never connect the ps2 directly to the computer. i connect the HDD to the computer to transfer the game to HHD, and then i connect the HDD to the PS2. for the transfer i also use a program called USBExtrem.

Some games are not combatible with USB Extreme. Regardless of how you tranfer games to your PS2, you still have to run a program like HDA, HDL or USB Extreme in order to play the game.
A network adapter is being used in HDA only to connect the hdd to the PS2, not to go online.
