I just bought the MPT from BVRP. I still have the multimedia button disabled. Does anyone know the workaround to get the multimedia functions back? They mentioned that the V3c firmware is not supported. I guess thats because verizon is full of ass clowns.

You have to replace the outdated modem.doc file in the mpt program file but I can't remember where the download is. If I can locate I'll post, otherwise just try searching for it. Once I renamed the old file and used the new file the multimedia section came right up. You may need to create a new profile if you have trouble.

hey everyone.. i have one lst question... so far i only can transfer .mid files as my ringtones...
but i heard that razr v3c also supports mp3 files..
however when i am trying to transfer them i get this message:
Unsupported format
(mp3 codec may be inappropriate or missing)

does anyone have an idea to what that means and if there is a way to make it work?
thank you

There's another thread that has the answer to all this. You have to get another modems.pac, and create a new configuration to get it all to work....
