I have a problem, each time I try to add a mpg file created using winTV it runs through the importing sequence, gets to 100% then the program closes with no error message... anyone come accross this or know what I am doing wrong??

Ive never used WinTV but have had Nero crash like that before. Did you try reinstalling the software or checking for upgrade? The last time I had that happen I think I actually reinstalled an older version of Nero Visioon and it solved it..I use version 3.1.0.0 and have no problems where did with one of the newer versions

I've had a similar problem with NVE3. When I try to import a file created by my LiteOn 1105 DVD Recorder Nero goes through the sequence all the way to 100%, then nothing, and no error message. Sound familiar? Only difference is that Nero doesn't crash for me--just keeps running like everything's normal.

I can import just about any MPG I d/l but it doesn't seem to like LiteOn created files.

yes exactly the same, I have sorted my problem now by upgrading to Nero 7.

I got the trial version of Nero 7 and it works for me too, where Nero 6 didn't work at all. Amazing how the version that costs real money works and the one that came with my DVD drive didn't. Got a few issues with Nero 7 but may wind up buying it anyway.

Wise choice with the upgrade. Try and take some time to check out all of the tools this version offers. Pretty awesome package, pretty powerful for the low cost too.
