ImgBurn is my ISO burner of choice and I've been using it since the initial version. When I updated to the current version I received the same warning (I also have a dell, I believe it's a dell thing since they write the bios for their pcs). Despite the warning, I have always made a successful backup that played perfectly in my sony player. What are you trying to view the movie with?

The log looks ok, the only thing I would change is the source file size(4.681 gig is too close to the capacity of the dvd, have shrink cut it down to approx. 4.4 gig to reduce to posibility of burn errors), I use the same sony dvds with no problems and since they're DVD+Rs you should try and booktype them to DVD-ROM for greater compatibility.

Thanks for the feed back, I am view the dvd with window media play version 10, thru Cineplayer, which works fine. Apparently the rip and burn was okay, because when I placed the copied DVD in my computer it worked fine and when I tested it out in my portable dvd player it worked fine too, but when I try playing it in both of my home dvd players it did not work... strange, because when I rip and burned my other's on TDK DVD+RW, the movies played on all of my players... but I am still happy.. I just need to know if I should stick with the brand TDK after I used up the 50 Sony that I just purchase. Many thanks again and I will change my file size in the future.
Oh, what do you mean by "booktype them to DVD-ROM for greater compatibility."

Hi MrNAT,

I am getting same Warning when running the new ImgBurn program.

The DELL URL shortcut that you suggested ... I wonder if that upgrade would work for me also ... I have a DELL Precision Workstation 360 (older model) with INTEL Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHZ and I am running Windows XP Professional SP2.

Coul danybody shed any light on my above Question.
