what is a crossover cable and a connection via router?
were can i get them from? how much? and which is better 2 use?
without recking any settings on my broadband internet connection pls people

i have a broadband cable modem
I use a crossover cable myself, no router needed
a crossover cable also called a cat5 or rj45 cable is cheap

a 50ft cable is $12.99 and they go down in price if you need less length. I needed 50ft because i had to run it across my whole room

and how to set your connection for sharing
you will need to know that

you will not reck any settings, you will set up a second connection for your Xbox. a LAN (local area network) connection.

you will also need an FTP program, you can get them here and a few of them are free.
