Ive learned alot the last few weeks(from reading forums) and would like to say thanx to all those who post...Just soft modded my 5th box using UXE but now i need to learn the whole HDD upgrade thing. Ive got everything ready (copied C:E:F:,eeprom, burned iso, burnt cd), but i need to know how or where will i save all these games on my new 200G HDD. My question is will building my 'new xbox hdd from scratch' format E: where all my apps and games folders are now or will it be a new partion? And if it is will UnleashedX be able to run them from there? Sorry if this doesnt make any sense...I like to know things before i attempt them.

What program are you using to build your new hd from scratch ? you will be able to put your games in :F or :G .You will be able to run your apps and dash from the current folders they are in. If you have more questions feel free to ask. Good Luck.

Elliot: Hey, do you, uh, think I could come back some time and play with your Xbox?
Karen: Anytime, kid.
Elliot: Bye.
Karen: Oh! Well, would you look at that? This game is called an Xbox. Well. Ha ha ha...

xboxhdm is the program...All the tutorials ive read get really vague when they talk about the partion part, and even more when its over 137G? Ive also noticed that my unleashedX has selection of formatting drives?

Well if it where me I would keep the orignal hard drive for a backup and just play around with the new harddrive to see how xboxhdm handels the larger size. As long as you have the epprom you don't need to worry about locking yourself out of the hd. I konw when you go to build the harddrive from scratch xboxhdm wil ask if you want to use and or format a :G partion which you will want with the larger drive. Good luck. And if you do try it report back to let us know how it went>
