everytime i goto decypt to the hdd and i open up shrink all i get is a title menu to select, nothing else! which is only 6 seconds long. i recently installed the trial period for anydvd, could this have anything to do with it? I thought it could be so i uninstalled anydvd trail and got the newest ver of dvd43,and i still get the same thing, no movie file or extras are present. any help is appreciated

Welcome to the forum. Are you ripping the files ( File Mode-all of them ) to the HD and if so do they play when you click on the 1st .VOB file. What is the name of the movie?

yes i'm ripping in file mode and the movie plays when i click on VOB file, trying to do sin city uncut and serenity. i also tried the diff mode as in main movie only,movie+ifo's and the all function and they all yield the same results when i open shrink and click reauther and click on my folder that i rip to, and all i get is the stupid title menu and thats it

www.dvdplusvideo.com look for scuba petes guide.has all the correct setting for decypter and shrink for easy and hard to rip dvds.follow the guide and will work like a charm.i have been using for years with no problems.good luck

Follow the guide and settings for DVDDecrypter and DVDShrink located in my signature. Set it up exactly and go throught the process step by step. Success will come. This is the process that I use and I never have a failure.
