do you know if they have anything in the works to make ad hoc games be able to work over the internet something like infrastructure?

yes it is called xlink kai the same xlink kai that works for the xbox 1

and here is how

you need to set your wireless adapter connection to channel 6

then set your ad hoc to the same thing then when it goes though xlink kai to connect to a game it will find another psp and you can play

Wow I didn't know it was so simple!! And here I thought you only had a choise of Two or Three Wireless Router \ 802.11 PCI Cards that could support a 'Promiscuous Ad-Hoc Mode' (e.g. a qusi Ad-Hoc-Infrastructre Mode setting),...

At least that's according to what I read at the XLink KAI Website....
