I will be getting in this order...
Drunk
A Hangover
Some heavy-duty painkillers
Drunk again!
A weird experience waking up in a strange bed with some bloke I don't know.
A taxi home in the early hours
More painkillers
A bath
Drunk..
Hopefully that should see off most of silly season.

Still at these ol threads meboy! Ah well, Christmas is a favorite subject for a kurmudgeon such as moi. Bah Humbug ....eh? Yep...yep...blow it out your (r)ear, Santa! Hee hee....and what's that ring in your pics, Brandon? You're doing anything unthinkable like some sentimentalists your age are sometimes wont to do ... are you? You're too young for that sort of thing.

What does a promise ring promise? ...you must understand that I love to play the cranky kurmudgeon at christmas. You know, this year was a first...usually, they start annoying you with christmas marketing and those aweful carols at thanksgiving. At least in Philly, they started setting up christmas displays just before halloween! They should be boiled in their own pudding LOL!

it promises a serious and devoted relationship ^.^
there's no end to the christmas season marketing, and i hate it. sure, i can understand riding so that you get the most for your dollar, but setting up for christmas a quarter year early is just wrong. that's the kinda stuff that makes me wanna grab something converted to full auto and go on a rampage.

Ah well, tis nice, I suppose; still sound like successful marketing to me though. Use to be just a wedding ring; betroval rings were just a rich man's foible. Then everyone wanted to do the engagement ring thing. Then they started with "mother's rings" with the birthstone of each and every one of them; if you were catholic, you ordered it with two rows of stones. Then it was the fathers ring version of the mother's ring. Now its promise rings. Guess a first date ring is next LOL!

LMAO! I studied to be a Jesuit once .... you should have heard me in my prime but, alas, that was thirty five years ago and it takes the grey matter awhile to get into gear. You know though, in the catholic church, you weren't allowed to study philosophy/theology in english at all; the nature of the language is ambiguous. You could study in damn near any other language, but english was forbidden.
