if i buy anydvd and clonedvd2 will that be all i need to burn downloaded tv series and dvd's ? i'm seriously considering buying these 2 software and erasing all my other backup software from my hard drive . ur expert opinions would be nice . merry christmas to all

you will also need to download a program like DivX to dvd which will be your encoding software.This program will convert your AVI and associated files to an mpeg2 compatible format before you can burn them to dvd .

Maybe and maybe not. Buying anydvd and clonedvd2 is definitely a wise choice, but relying only on anydvd to do it all is not likely to happen. It's like taking your money and investing in only one thing hoping it pays off, you should never put all your eggs in one basket. Go ahead and buy anydvd and clonedvd2, but don't dump all the other free software that's availiable because when anydvd lets you down, one of the other apps just might be what you need to get the job done.

I have them both and also have DVDdecrypter, DVDShrink, imgburn, and DVDFab Decrypter. With this combination I am confident that I can handle most every movie that comes along.
