Thanks bunnyrip. I will check out staples too. Getting low on Tys.. not jones'ing yet, but getting down to a couple of spindles left.. AAaaaaaaahhhh!!!! Sorry, brief panic attack there. Can't have too many Ty blanks lying around.. Not that i use as many as doc (Mr. movie mogul) does :). I think he is secretly setting up his own media warehouse, and is waiting for the right time to sell. More power to ya doc.. :)
I just got back from BB and EVERY one of those Fuji colored packs were MIT, not MIJ. So, i didn't get them, but did pick up a couple spindles of the 16x rated Verb +Rs.

At staple's: If you take your old ink cartridges back,they'll give you a $3 voucher.You can only use 1 per transaction. I live 2 mins away and I have 5 of those vouchers left. I'll go over there,buy 1 thing-like photopaper for $5.94 and give them the voucher and get it for $3!
I get them cartridges at private.abacus for $19 a set,and get $18 in vouchers! Can't beat that.
Maxburn: Those ritek-r03's are sweet! Not ty sweet,but still excellent.
How were they packaged?
I get the Ritek-R03's on the Office Depot +8x's for 20-25 cents each when they have their house brand sale.You can definitely get riteks cheaper at OD than those fuji and also maxell brand riteks.
My staple's have plenty of those 30 pack ty's for around $15. No best buy around to price match. I'm still waiting for that next big sale. Last time those fuji tys were $8.94 a pack.30 cent tys!
Yeah, I think maybe Doc is planning to make a Fortune on ebay with TY Media! LOL. Just kidding :) saugmon, No Local Best Buy? Darn! Man, that bites.I know for fact that Staples will match them. My Local Best Buy & Staples are next door to each other! Literally! Then there's a Circuit City within a block. And within a mile there is an Office Max! Media Central Man!
I wish all of you a Happy New Year!
i went to look for those colored Fuji 30-pack discs myself today @ BestBuy...ZERO made in japan TYs...all of them for ME LOCALLY were Made in Taiwan...so, i naturally passed them by and went looking for a new DLP Tv set~ :)
@maxburn
that comment brought a smile to my face, hehe, actually, i am kinda "stock-piling" Taiyo Yuden media before the year's end...who knows what brands will change manufacturers in 2006, i'm getting them ALL now before it's too late~ LOL...sounds paranoid, i know~ but, with my excessive habit of buying Taiyo Yuden media when on sale...i just feel better knowing i have plenty "in-stock"...
p.s. i got about 1,800 TYG02s last week, purchased online during a 1-day sale; reason i got so many in the dash format is my wife's family standalone player likes the TY DASH format MUCH MORE than my TY DVD+R format booktyped to dvd-rom~!! yea...tell me bout it, i was like, wth?? hahahahhaha
with 5 members in their family, each having their own preferences in genre of movies i own, got quite a bit of "backin up" to do come next year~ :)
this holds true w/ MY OWN parent's standalone dvd player...how technology never seems to cease to amaze me... :)
