Motorolla v220 "insert sim" problems

G'day all

i just got a new motorola v220 for christmas everything is going fine,
but every so often the phone shuts off and starts up again and says "insert sim" its happened about 4 times today and i have charged the phone

i tried searching the forums but couldn't find any simmilar problems

maybe i should just get a refund, i've been reading about other peoples problems with this phone.

any help would be great

hi & merry christmas!

my g/f had this problem, make sure you have the metal clip holding the simcard in. it seems to be in properly but without the clip it must come loose somehow.

hope that works - then you can move on to editing it, clearing space, getting rid of the company name etc.
