Everytime I try to encode a video I keep getting ahlfway through video and it says.

Data Error. ( cyclic redundancy check)

can anyone tell me what this is and how to stop it , it happens with all the video's that we have tried to backup.

This usually happens when your dvd drive is trying to read a disk that is dirty, scratched, or the media is of poor quality. You say it happens on all video's your trying to backup so it may not be for those reasons. What DVDs are you trying to backup, with what are you trying to back them up with, and what settings are you using?

Download DVDFab decrypter and rip the files to the harddrive first, before you use DVDShrink. That should solve the issue, unless it is in fact a bad disc.
