And I dropped so many hints too.
@gear79
Can't, the packs have been opened to scan with DVDinfo.
The Benq I.D as Daxxon, the TDK are CMC.

@ attar........ where did you get em from?
most places will accept opened goods, espcially considering the day after christmas.
most retailers give you 14 days to return goods, get the receipt.
i have done it before, many times. best buy is good for it, comp usa does it, so does office depot.
i got a tub of DVD-R verbs that i am gonna exchange for the + format.

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/276085
Basically I got a pack of Sony minus Rs and need to know if they are good. saugmon said the ones made in Japan are good. If this is considered a double post I am sorry, I will edit it ASAP.

@PopSmith
I would prefer the made in Japan myself but I also wouldn't feel like I was 'stuck with them' if I couldn't take them back. I'm sure they are pretty good stuff.

I've used a lot of the ritek R03's with excellent results. It's not TY's but still very useable with consistant performance on my players.

@junesie,
If the place you bought the items from does not accept returns then you could always sell them to a friend or on eBay.

I have used many of the Maxell MIT DVD+R's 8x. They code Ritek R03. Good quality media!
I don't know about the -R's though.

hmm, unfortunately I opened the 50 pack to see who was the manufacturer(duh me) and they are CMC ones, so I'm stuck with them now. The 100 pack is still wrapped up. A relative bought them for me and I have no recipts:(, still think an exchange is possible?
@alkohol, do you recommend Sony and Fuji MIJ over Maxell
MIJ? or are all 3 recommended now?
Happy Holidays :D
